I'm Kayla!
A little bit about me - I married my husband, Ryan, in December of 2022 and we recently welcomed our daughter into the world in October! Our golden retriever (Reuben, like the sandwich) completes our little family. On the weekends you can find us spending time outside, checking out a local brewery or spending quality time with family and friends.
I have always enjoyed planning & hosting events - any excuse to put together a charcuterie board makes my heart happy ;) In preparation of our wedding day I discovered that I wanted to take event planning a step further and make it my career, and that’s how Opal & Co. Events came to life! I have been working closely with R&R since their beginning stages and I couldn’t be more excited to be partnering with them. It has been a great experience working with couples and forming relationships with various vendors in the Howard Lake area.
What I offer
Day-of coordination is the perfect option for the couples who have planned their big day and want to actually enjoy it! As your coordinator, I will step in one-month prior to finalize those last details and help create the perfect wedding day timeline. On the day you say "I do", I'll be there to oversee vendors, assist with setup and teardown, and make sure we're sticking to schedule throughout the day.
